Wednesday, May 30th was for now; the final CHINA CLUB PROJAM
At Barfly!! It blowed up real good!! Once again, The Funky
Hippies killed the SRO house; and were joined on stage by LL
Cool J, OLLIE WOODSON (lead singer from The Temptations),
Sharonmarie Fisher-Laughrey, and seventeen-year old guitar
wunderkind, Reeve Carney!
This edition of the live music
series definitely went out with style. The China Club ProJam
has entertained and endured changes in the public's musical
taste for over fifteen years and will re-surface at a new
venue shortly.

Bonnie Bishop, James "Jimbo" Neal, Brent Harvey, UnSigned on
Sunset and The China Club All-Stars (Jeff "Skunk" Baxter,
Allan Kaufman (AK), Steve Ferrone, Tim Scott, Rob Mullins,
Robin Kirmsse, Jimmy Roberts, Miles Joseph, Gavin
Christopher, Jock Ellis, Teddy Andreadis, Lee Thornburg and
Billy Preston; we would like to thank you for weekly
supporting this incredible live music event.
The main reason for the hiatus is
that most of The China Club All Stars will be on tour with
their respective day gigs (Steve Ferrone with Tom Petty,
Jimmy Roberts with Rod Stewart, Teddy Andreadas with Alice
Cooper, etc,
etc, etc).....................................
HOWEVER, the full band will be
doing a very worthwhile benefit for
MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY (In conjunction
with the JERRY LEWIS TELETHON FUND RAISER): ("The Black and
Blue Ball") in Santa Barbara on Saturday, July 21st. 6:00pm
till Midnight at Elings Park. (There will be a PLETHORA of
Celebrities and World Famous Guest Musicians Performing
Throughout The Evening). For tickets for this Very Important
Tax Deductable Charity Ball, Information can be obtained by
